Monitor configuration issue
i "kinda" done this in kde, basically i disabled all but my primary monitor, then go to colors & themes > login screen (sddm) > apply plasma settings, then restore the disabled monitor

you can layer x11 but the issue you are linking are for kernel 6.4 while bazzite are on 6.9

Since Bazzite is Immutable.....How to backup image?
depend on what your goal is, if backing up data then you can backup your home folder, if you want to replicate setup then create custom image i guess
