Steam virtual keyboard "AltGr" key not working in Desktop mode (KDE Bazzite Wayland)
Found a lead,
The steam executable uses extest on bazzite to fix the keyboard for wayland.
So the workaround will probably have to come from extest or valve, others have reported the same issue:

The sent "tab" comes from an internal mapping in the library from the unknown key code 156->Tab
