connection timeout error constantly
Hosting is really affordable for discord bots, around $3/mo for most hosts. I know you stated you're trying to be tight on money, but home networks just aren't as reliable as a dedicated host. Make sure your IP is also not regularly changing due to any number of things such as;
- Security/firewall programs
- Router settings
- VPN
That said, feel free to post the error message and maybe it will provide some insight, though unlikely.
