Yeah I think I’ve seen a screen that does that before. Weird. At least game mode works on my TV now if I turn the Dell screen off though

I mean something’s definitely weird about the output signal if my Dell screen can’t sync to it, but unfortunately none of my screens display any info about the output signal

I saw someone replied to the GitHub issue mentioning it being stuck at 720p, and it looks like that might be the case, my screen seems blurrier than normal… but if nothing else I can probably pin the previous deployment

I have a DisplayPort output going to a cheap 1080p60 Dell monitor, and the HDMI output is going to a splitter with a 12 year old 1080p60 Sony TV on its first output and a cheap portable 1080p60 OLED monitor on the second.
So they all should use the same or similar timings anyway…

I’ll try unplugging my second screen — I did notice I was getting an error about the frequency on it being out of range instead of it just being blank like before.

okay, sounds good. i'll follow the upstream github issue https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope/issues/1218 and just stay on 20240424 until i see that it's updated for that

That did fix it. But it’s very frustrating that this is broken. I’m going to try and look around the builds.

I don’t wanna go back that far, so I’m trying 40-stable-20240424 because that’s the last day before gamescope was updated past 3.13.19 which the issue mentions was working on RX580
