One Click Build Mod Will Not Persist After Save
Here's my mods. Maybe we have something in common that might affect it?
Additional 300 inventory slots
All poles have lights
Covered conveyor
Early map redux
Grid Ruler
Map function library
One click building
Remove empty dimensional stocks
Resource node creator
Road spline tool

Installer Failing
That or possibly going into the properties and checking the Unblock box on the bottom of the general tab. Says something like "This file came from another computer". Not sure if this is still applicable to the 3.0.0 version

install fail
I had a different error, but I think the same method will work for you. Try installing SMM 2.0.0 (https://github.com/satisfactorymodding/SatisfactoryModManager/releases/tag/v2.0.0) then retry the SMM 3.0.0 install. I think it might be looking for the old app to uninstall instead of bypassing and doing a fresh install.

Installer not directable?
I had to install v2.0.0 (https://github.com/satisfactorymodding/SatisfactoryModManager/releases/tag/v2.0.0) then install the v3.0.0 (https://github.com/satisfactorymodding/SatisfactoryModManager/releases/tag/v3.0.0) and mine worked. Maybe worth a shot.
