Template ownership / "official" templates
Hey! I'm the maintainer of https://github.com/tailscale-dev/tclip and work at Tailscale.
There's a Railway template for tclip already that a community member made which is great (https://railway.app/new/template/HzYDtl) but I wanted to make some edits to it to add newer configuration options that are required for users who don't use our control server, many of these options have been added in the past months by me.
Is the only option to reach out to the template owner, or is there a process for me to create an "official" template to replace the community-authored one? While I'm happy to verify I work at Tailscale if my maintainership is in doubt, the only possible issue I can see is that we don't have a company Railway account to hold it on, only my own.
I had mentioned the request for more options to the author back in Sept on a PR they made to include a Railway deploy button to the project, but haven't had a response.
I've used Railway for a long time and dimly recall templates being in a GitHub repository before (as "Starters") but it seems to all be managed through the platform now, so I can't submit changes to them that way.

Error "The selected runtime is not supported in this region." switching to metal
When I try to switch any of the services in my project
cc6da1e6-256c-47fc-bf86-2d464d8eb369
(e.g. service 11f8563c-e639-4324-88d3-7ef47ddbad52
/ deploy 681ad357-e19c-44e9-a1e4-88891dadad05
)
to the Metal region they all fail with the error "The selected runtime is not supported in this region.", even though there is no option to change runtime visible in Settings for these services. I don't have any volumes.13 replies
