I've read up on overlays a bit, but it honestly sounds a bit abstract to me still, could you give me the snippet you're using so that I can read a practical example instead of the documentation?

Could someone give me a quick TL;DR on the nixpkgs build? I'm running Nixos and have been spending most of today getting the Satisfactory mod manager working.
