the only other way around this is to turn off secureboot and don’t register the key, but idk if you’re dual booting with windows, it may be a problem if you are

do you have shader cache enabled? if not, your CPU is going to be working a lot to get all the shaders compiled, check temps to make sure its not reaching critical temps that would lead to programs crashing out

No Linux works (even Bazzite)
memorex is terrible, do not use them, i recommend sandisk or really anything else. I would ask what kind of hardware you have, and whether or not you have things like secureboot enabled. Is this a custom build or an OEM machine? provide the specs please
