Full-Disk Encryption on Deck?
in recent days i just stick to not encrypting at all, and i just dont log into anything personal on my portable devices, i cannot in good conscience recommend secure boot + full disk encryption with tpm unlock on fedora atomic images in its current state to anyone

this will use pcr 7 registry (which measures the secure boot state) of the TPM by itself. I find that it is not secure enough, and youre better off using a yubikey for unlocking. Otherwise, with only pcr 7 i can modify the grub cmdline and access your drive as root unencumbered. If you go this route, I would secure the grub menu with a strong password in addition to tpm unlock. We cannot use other PCR registries at the moment due to the way how rpm-ostree works, otherwise, if we had UKI support we could secure our system the same way microsoft secures windows with PCR 7+11

Recent Bluetooth Issues
can you try cold booting? this happens to me from time to time, unsure what the cause is, the solution is always cold booting, that is shut down your PC completely, and then boot it back up. It cannot be a reboot.

like the image is too compressed, sadly i get the same issues you described when i use a dp to hdmi dongle, it works on a first boot, but get black screens on subsequent reboots

although, i have my doubts it is using 4:4:4, it may be 4:2:2, games look okay, but something about how desktop mode looks seems off

try a different cable too, one that says “high speed ethernet” or just “high speed”, or if the packaging says that its rated for hdmi 2.1 or 8k 60fps

Bazzite install problems
so the way how it works is all images are signed, for security purposes, i think this is a signature that is failing, which is a good thing you don't want to install the wrong thing, i checked #🚨announcements and have not seen anything relating to signatures in regards to bazzite, can you try recreating your USB with a freshly downloaded bazzite-deck image from bazzite.gg?

oh i did not realize this was a bug with the kernel, makes sense, considering that OG Resident Evil does not crackle on my steam deck in handheld, but does on my HTPC via HDMI audio

i read some places online, with little to no explanation, just that it fixed their crackling issues, simply installing libfaudio
i am skeptical about it, but wanted to ask here, and if you knew anything about this library. Redditors claim that installing this in a fedora system with pipewire solved their audio crackling issues
