Nightly sunshine from ujust seems to have issues
I've got the same issue on my end, hadn't tried to moonlight stream in a week or so, but now I'm getting AV1 encoder errors on host, and I'm also no longer able to establish an HDR stream either

LACT- Fan control and overclocking
the other thing to check would be systemctl status lactd to see if the lact daemon is running or not

also running the rpm-ostree command should be non-destructive, it'll only add the karg if it doesn't exist and so long as you're running an amdgpu you want it there 👍

LACT- Fan control and overclocking
haha he ended up getting another card and then realizing that it was just a new "feature" 😆 - but I'm glad to hear it's working! although I am surprised it's working given that the maintainer expects it to only start working on kernel >6.13 and bazzite is on a (patched) 6.11 so maybe some of the zerorpm patches are included?
Zero RPM mode settings on RDNA3. Currently this needs a linux-next to be used, and the functionality is expected to land in kernel 6.13. But this resolves a long-standing issue with RDNA3 that made the fan always disabled below a certain temperature, even if using a custom curve.

also, funny related story, but my friend RMA'd a 3090 back in like Nov 2020 when they were still unobtanium because he thought it was faulty due to zero rpm fan mode

rpm-ostree kargs --append-if-missing=$(printf 'amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0x%x\n' "$(($(cat /sys/module/amdgpu/parameters/ppfeaturemask) | 0x4000))") would be the command if the ujust happened to run without it, but I don't think the change to the ujust that I'm referring to would have gotten to your image yet. Worth running that anyway 🤷

oh yeah, I see the missed line, I'll add it back now. But that code isn't in the latest :stable to shouldn't be the cause of the issue here

LACT- Fan control and overclocking
7900xtx fan control should work in LACT, I have that card and I'm able to control my fan speed. Related/unrelated @Kyle Gospo I just reworked the lact ujust since they're in COPR now, I don't think I included anything for setting karg in the new version of the ujust command

GreenWithEnvy Error
you can technically use your own COPRs, but you have to add the *.repo file (downloaded from copr on the web) to /etc/yum.repos.d and then do sudo rpm-ostree refresh-md --force and then at that point you can just do a regular rpm-ostree install lact. the copr for LACT was just published yesterday for the first time and we just merged a PR to change ujust install-lact to use that instead of the old method of fetching from their github release page. it should be in the next release

yeah you should use the ujust command ujust install-lact , using copr on ublue distros is a little more complicated than on a normal fedora distro

what model of card? you might want to also try installing LACT and see if you can control the fan curve from there

[RESOLVED] Tuned power manager tunes too low
Honestly the biggest frustration I have with TuneD is that the document is incomplete. Some stuff isn't really TuneD's responsibility to document (like setting kernel args - that depends on what your kernel supports) but even some of the plugins that are more specific just to TuneD don't have great docs. https://tuned-project.org/ has some description. man tuned.conf isn't very helpful. Reading the existing tuned profiles either using the tuned gui or via terminal can be pretty helpful for reverse engineering. If you create a new profile based on power saver and just strip away values one at a time individually and replace the removed values after testing, you might be able to find out which specific part of the power saver config is killing your system and either remove it or modify it to work better for your system

Steam Big Picture bad performance on AMD GPU
have been using the bazzite-steam -tenfoot launch instead for a while now, but if it's possible to get normal steam desktop to launch in a higher fps that would be awesome
