virt-manager swtpm_setup error

I have already fixed this, but I'm putting everything in one place so it's easier to find when searching discord backlog. Anyone seen these issues with virt-manager flatpak before? I searched through the backlog and couldn't really find anyone else, but maybe my search terms are bad. I ran ujust setup-virtualization, bios setup stuff is done, etc. I'm trying to get a windows vm in place for updating controller firmware, but when I create the new virtual machine (connected to qemu://system) I get Unable to complete install: 'internal error: Could not run '/usr/bin/swtpm_setup'. I'm able to bypass that by setting the tpm device to "passthrough" instead of emulated.

xbox elite series 2 controller repeatedly disconnects

I'm having a werid issue with my Xbox controller (connected to my desktop pc via the official MS usb adapter) where every 1-5 minutes the controller will disconnect and reconnect completely. I've used the controller at this range and with various windows and linux installations over the years and there aren't any new obstructions or causes for disconnect. When it disconnects, the status light on the controller changes to dark blue and or white LED, toggling back and forth each time that the controller reconnects. It makes games basically unplayable with the controller since it happens so frequently. Here's a sample DMESG during the disconnects:

Anyone else seen similar behavior? Any remediation tips? I was using bazzite with gnome on this machine up until this week, and reinstalled to bazzite with KDE and now this issue is present. However, it happens regardless if I'm in desktop or game mode.

External Keyboard Shortcuts - Game Mode

I'm using bazzite-gnome-deck on a desktop PC. On my Steam Deck (valve official OS) if I connect an external keyboard and mouse, ctrl+1 and ctrl+2 usually give me the "steam button" menu and the "three dots" (quick access) menu. That behavior continues in Bazzite's game mode, but only when I'm actually in the Steam UI. Once I start a game, I'm unable to open the Steam/Quick Access menus unless I connect a controller and use the controller hotkeys. Am I missing something, or should those shortcuts be working?

Anyone else seen similar? I seem to remember from my arch install that there's something funky about this board. systemctl unit is always in failed state as well
