Wrongfully banned account
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out here in hopes of connecting with the Valorant community and staff regarding an account ban that I believe has been placed on me in error. My account, Leo#0865, was recently banned under the claim of using "third-party software to gain an unfair advantage." I want to make it clear that I have never used cheats, hacks, or scripts in Valorant. This ban came as a complete shock, and despite opening multiple tickets and providing all the information I could, my appeals have been dismissed without clear evidence or explanation.
After researching, I suspect that the issue may relate to Nvidia Experience and Razer software, both of which I use as overlays to manage performance and settings but have no impact on gameplay. I’m concerned that Vanguard may have flagged these overlays as third-party software, resulting in an unfair ban. However, Riot Support has not been transparent about the investigation or given me the opportunity for a proper review.
I’m reaching out here because I know other players may have faced similar issues, and I’d like to hear from anyone who has experienced a wrongful ban or encountered issues with overlays and Vanguard. I would also appreciate any guidance from staff on how to proceed. My account represents a lot of time, investment, and dedication, and I am determined to resolve this.
If anyone has had a similar experience, please share, or if there’s any way to escalate this, I’d be grateful for your advice. This has been a frustrating journey, and I want to ensure that loyal players aren’t wrongfully penalized due to detection errors.
