I followed the instructions on the documentation and select from scratch , but previously I followed the instructions and used the preset blank docker template but it also failed

It was blank I just followed the instructions I tried to use the started docker template and terraform exits with error 1 and when I try to make mine I get 
Error: Invalid provider registry host
The host "registry.terraform.io" given in provider source address
"registry.terraform.io/coder/coder" does not offer a Terraform provider
registry.
