How would you store the data for a blog posts with .NET and Entity Framework?
just for personal exercises mostly. I've worked in .NET and Angular mostly and I'm looking for a new job in that field so I'm trying to get a handle on how it works with SQL mostly since that's always been my weakest part

actually I think the most straightforward thing at the moment would be treating it like any other file that could be uploaded by the user -- such as a pdf -- and then download and display it in the client when accessed. It may not be very efficient, but I think I'll find the most resources on how to do this safely

How would you store the data for a blog posts with .NET and Entity Framework?
so I've been trying to do some studying on this since posting this yesterday. It seems that the way to do it involves saving the posts as static files in the wwwroot folder and using a file reader of some kind with Angular? But I'm not completely certain. I also see discussion about the wwwroot being used solely for the client-side html files. Are these just two different schemas that could be used, or am I misusing the wwroot folder with this idea?

I'm so sorry for vanishing. I had a busy week and completely forgot I posted this after a while. Is there a good source on how to set up secrets? I'm just starting to get a handle on setting up an API and a Client project so I'm not sure how exactly to go about implementing secrets like that. I'll take a look into SQLite though since I may keep going with some of my own projects this way

When looking around at sites and mockups for inspiration or learning, what do you focus on?
that's a good idea though to use the words and also, especially, to look outside just sites/UI. I already figured that things like posters and other forms of advertising had a lot of overlap to web design, but I could see going further and breaking away the strictness to simply locate the "vibe" so-to-speak

But yeah, I absolutely am realizing I underestimated the requirements. There's so many missing pieces it feels a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. Like I KNOW what it looks like put together but I didn't realize this section was so complicated, and currently it doesn't look anything like the finished product!

Tbh it always seemed a little like it would come naturally since I've actually always been more artistically inclined, I just knew I was good with programming as well so I pushed in college to learn that for career opportunities over getting competitive with design. The main clientele around me though are contractors and real estate agents so I am hoping to have a baseline level of skill to be able to make very straightforward brochure sites on my own. I've also been a little anxious about how other developers find designers to work with? Whether it's an individual basis of commissioning a single design, or if it's a written agreement? It's always felt like such a big commitment to get anyone else involved.
