double loggin
When it launches it shows up with the login screen, i log in then after about 20 seconds of the desktop being displayed it goes back to the login screen, now if i log in again then the screens stop working. everything appears to be still running on the pc and i have to hard restart it to get it out.

nvidia 690 gtx help pls
noob here, how does one go about installing a driver for a 690 gtx ninvidia?
found a file from there website, but every time i try to run it, it returns "not root" and if i try to root first using "sudo -i" and then "sudo whoami" it returns root, but then the command line for installing it does not work any more.
btw here is the command ninvidia wants me to run "sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.103.01.run"
from what i understand the sh should ask for a login if your not a root user already?
