Virt Manager: Failed to connect socket to '/var/run/libvirt/virtnetworkd-sock'
So I found some time to boot into the latest and restarting the systemd services worked, though I'd be curious to know what that would change between build configurations. Either way, thanks for the support!

I haven't done all of those, just virtnetworkd. I can try that later.

Unfortunately changing it to xhci didn't work on my particular set of controllers. I'm having a similar issue though where my controller connects, freezes up the deck briefly, and then is completely unresponsive despite successfully connecting.

I've run into this issue. So do I need to go into the bios in order to enable XHCI?
