Dimensional Depot Downloader: It's good, but I need a way to limit the output
Since late U3, I've been using Storage Teleporter to move me away from spaghetti belts (and also enable me to have remote factories).
But one thing I really loved about the mod was the ability to say: "hey, resource that I have said to produce at a very specific speed to go to a machine that's far away, which is also set to a very specific speed. I need you to bring yourself to that machine," and was able to do it.
It also allowed me to keep my Central Storage stocked (for personal use).
Now with 1.0 and the 'death' of Storage Teleporter, I'm using Dimensional Depot. I do like it... but, I can no longer specify, as it will use 'whatever is there in the Cloud' for ALL machines that request that resource, forcing me to produce more of that resource (that I never had to before).
Would really like Dimensional Depot Downloader to have an option, that I can say "ok, this machine needs this resource at 20/m. So, Downloader, ONLY send this amount of this resource."
I don't really mind that my Central Storage is now obsolete because of the cloud. But I would like the Downloader to 'just be better' and let me specify.
