does this only happen while docked at 60hz? try forcing max gpu clocks while doing so if you still have your bazzite install

basically necessary tf2 mod that fixes many performance options and settings, just look it up, try medium low settings, you just drag a vpk into your tf2 mods folder

try rebooting maybe? honestly i would just do the recovery mode method if i was you. go into bios by tapping volume down while powering up, look for Asus cloud recovery and go all the way through it until you get to windows first setup screen, then just reboot back into bios and bazzite shouldn't say device is active anymore

This is a random solution, but if you have a ps5(or another pc) you can slap the drive in there and format it completely, then you wont get the device is active error. Alternatively using the cloud recovery and just quitting it out after it gets to the windows install.
