Friends suddenly unable to join the server, need some ideas for solutions.
I have hosted a server since 1.20.1, and friends were able to join fine. Now they are having issues with "Connection Timed Out", and I have tried:
Setting up UDP/TCP rules for 25565 in both outgoing and ingoing in the Firewall Settings.
Port Forwarding for both UDP and TCP (192.XXX) using the 25565 port in my router.
Turned off my Windows Firewall completely.
A port forwarding tester is telling me that 174.XXX address is open to 25565 port, but not my private IP address of 192.XXX I used to host and others used when joining.
A Minecraft Server Status Tester is telling me that 174.XXX is joinable, but for 192.XXX Private it is giving me a "Could not get server status"
Also, my friends and I are using the 1.20.1 installation option from the launcher, which is the patch that the server is running on.
I can join the server just fine using my 192.XXX address, and my friends used to be able to join it as well with that same address in the past.
I have also confirmed using the CMD Panel that my IPV4 address currently matches the server properties file and all the other queries for the IP in Port Forwarding.
Does anyone have any ideas?
