Import rules
Hi all, I've been wondering what is the best way to build rules which will be applied during a CSV import of data. I was thinking of a separate page/modal where the user will create a set of rules (Rule Groups) and there you need to have a calculation/action which should apply on the field value before saving it into the DB. After that into the CSV import modal you'll be able to choose which are the columns where the rule/rules needs to be applied during the import. Examples: 1. I have a CSV with negative values for specific columns and I want to convert all of those negative values to positive if the value of the column is above "-500" for example and save the data. 2. I need to combine the data of two or more columns into one and save the data. 3. I have to set the value/result of a column to something if the value of the CSV column is "test" I think I'll need something similar to Tables\Filters\QueryBuilder object, but build like standalone object and additionally add action/calculation that needs to happen. So I need something like "Initial data" => "check rules" => "calculate/set/combine value/values". Maybe this is a good idea for additional functionality to the Filament Import Action. It'll be great if we can use those rules with the Tables\Filters\QueryBuilder as well. Let me know what do you think and how you would approach the problem...
