Select relationship empty without message

I have a Select for a relationship (e.g.: type_id). This select can be empty if no records (types) exist. When you open the select, an empty container appears, without options and without any message, is this normal? Is there any way to set a "No records" message?

Is there a way to take user input into a TagsInput field?

I should only show suggestions if at least 3 characters have been typed. Get $get returns an array with the defined tags
