a HDD is a a box basically so if you have space on your motherboard lemme check in a sec you could get another m.2 ssd and use that for games and move whatever windows is on to your HDD

I will say. Getting a SATA SSD for your windows boot drive, having a NVME M.2 SSD for games, and a HDD for files or applications is what I see it as. SATA SSD's aren't as fast as M.2's but its just for loading windows. BIOS settings and messing around can cause issues yes.
