To improve gameplay for VALORANT and Fortnite on your current build, consider the following upgrades:
1. GPU Upgrade: Upgrading your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 to a more powerful GPU (like the GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, or higher) will significantly enhance gaming performance and allow for higher settings.
2. CPU Upgrade: While your current Ryzen 3 3200G is decent, upgrading to a Ryzen 5 3600 or a Ryzen 5 5600X would provide better performance due to more cores and higher clock speeds.
3. RAM Upgrade: Your 16GB DDR4-2666 is sufficient, but upgrading to 16GB of faster RAM (3000MHz or above) can provide additional performance benefits. Since your motherboard supports RAM up to 3200MHz, aim for that speed if possible. 4. Storage Upgrade: Consider adding a larger, faster SSD (like an NVMe M.2 SSD) for quicker load times and better overall system responsiveness compared to your current SATA SSD. 5. Cooling Upgrade: If you upgrade your CPU, investing in a higher-quality aftermarket cooler (e.g., Cooler Master Hyper 212) can help maintain lower temperatures and improve performance. These upgrades should provide a noticeable improvement in your gaming experience for both VALORANT and Fortnite.

. Thank you!
Are all these upgrades compatable with each other?
How old is this pc?
Around 4 years old
What cpu are you upgrading too btw?
Whatever the AI guy said
5600x
Ryzen 5
Is that good
Ryzen 5 is good yeah but i’d recommend slightly upgrading everything slowly, your pc is getting older and you’re very soon going to need a new GPU too
When that happens you’re going to have to, upgrade your motherboard and ram too, possibly get a bigger case for better cooling opportunities
I agree with the AI, as someone who builds PC's a CPU upgrade is prob the better choice in terms of upgrades. Yes the GPU will allow higher settings but val isnt hard to run at all its supper easy. trust. Fortnite is different with the changes in graphics and lighting a litte more power or setting the settings lower may be required
So i would have to build a whole new pc
Yeah val is cpu based anyways
Not yet
Yes
But eventually you’re going to have to swap most components anyways
My issue is val takes so long to load
thats not your CPU's fault
An SSD fixes that
yeah
And fortnite is just choppy cuz low frames
most likely
How does an ssd do that
If you have one i’d move your valorant files from your HDD to your SSD
SSD loads stuff from your PC
I thought that was ram
RAM = short term keeps things running SSD = long term
So if i moved valorant from my harddrive to the ssd
It will load faster?
Correct
Alr
It uses less power and less parts, will make your pc way faster during normal use, and a lot faster loading time in games
That too
Yes
The thing is my previous ssd was corrupted and i had to get a new one which caused me to install all my gamed onto the hard drive instead
Makes sense
Idk why it corrupted but it prevented my pc from even working
The tech support people made me mess with bios settings and stuff
I will say. Getting a SATA SSD for your windows boot drive, having a NVME M.2 SSD for games, and a HDD for files or applications is what I see it as. SATA SSD's aren't as fast as M.2's but its just for loading windows. BIOS settings and messing around can cause issues yes.
I dont know if i can have multiple ssds
Well its not a must
If you have a big enough case and enough power, and motherbrod ports, its possible.
So would i replace one for the other
no need just yet
Alr so if i had to change smth what should it be
But if you plan on getting a new pc at some point i would think about that. having a small 250 gb sata ssd or even a small HDD just for winods
Bruh what
I have 500 american currency to work with
a HDD is a a box basically so if you have space on your motherboard lemme check in a sec you could get another m.2 ssd and use that for games and move whatever windows is on to your HDD
Ok thanks
Do you know if the SSD you have is a SATA or M.2?
