SELinux is a security thing but you'll survive without it. It's not like running without Windows defender.

Apparently SELinux causes issues, this disables it but still makes it log things.

Installing dcp160wlpr and not the cups wrapper I think means the printer driver that Linux uses (CUPS) just can't see it. It needs the wrapper's functionality for that.
