Correct. At least not until it is part of the updated allow list. I unfortunately do not know when it is unfortunately.

cause many were having issues like synology.me addresses weren't working (i.e. dock.name.synology.me)

Ticket: Cannot Register/Login - Coolify Deployment Issues
uh to translate, he means that right now to make it easier, it would need to be like postiz.domain.com, NOT postiz.subdomain.domain.com. If the domain.com is NOT in the two-level listing, it won't make an exception.
I'd imagine it would be similar to being thought up as a two-level subdomain if it was something like .com.de like postiz.domain.com.de would technically count as domain being subdomain due to the tld address,

Ticket: Postiz login issue after SMTP setup on Synology NAS
Someone else found the issue. I'm assuming you're using a synology.me domain. It seems one person added a merge request where the issue is the program is not accepting some 2nd-level subdomains, in this cases, whatever the subdomain you made for name.synology.me (i.e. postiz.name.synology.me), it is stopping at the first subdomain which is why it won't login correctly. Would be waiting for approval, but it seems the temp fix is force a Primary subdomain somewhere else if possible until the code is approved to fix.

What he is referring to... those on 2nd level subdomain (i.e. subsub.subdomain.domain.com ) the login routine is stopping at the primary subdomain (i.e. subdomain.domain.com ). According to @m4rk, it is happening on SOME 2-level subdomains so it just needed to be whitelisted. In my case as per his instructions, I switched to something that I owned and gave postiz its own subdomain making a primary subdomain and gave it the certificate to validate from Let's Encrypt and it immediately logged in without issue.

as @m4rk pointed out, it is about the subdomain. using another domain I have and giving postiz temporary its own subdomain it worked.

Ok, wait, so if that is to apply in the future, it needs to be basically added if its 2-level subdomian? Wowza.

no. There was a comment in another post about certificate for the HTTPS and at the same time period, there was a different project I was dealing with where a company outright said that to do a whitelabel hosted domain, I would need to provide a certificate and it can't use Let's Encrypt. Its the only thing left that I'm not about to pay $50 - $150 on a "test" case to see if it would work.

I feel that is a separate question, but I always knew it as you needed your own smtp server. The mailer is just to connect.

unfortunately, I don't believe you'll be helped. Several of us have that same issue and it always stops the same way on the request since October. Also had pleas to make it more verbose to figure out why that return to login happens, but nothing and I've tried many things based on their docs. Only "solution" seems to be make a localhost server (so you always connect by localhost:5000).

This is why we wanted more verbose cause nothing is acknowledged in the logs. There is no additional log entries other than the server running (and the long preceeding acknowledgement of everything working).

I see site data get added, but no cookie added when trying to login. In the container logs, nothing shows/gets added to the time frame even when looked at live.

If it was about a security thing such as valid certificate, I can say that is perfectly fine. At least if that was an issue, I'd assume an error would show somewhere.

@xcons I would if I could see that properly, but honestly, I would just be duplicating verbadum to what BalroG posted https://discord.com/channels/1243410146097500202/1303035017446031492/1304489871171256463
