Chrome vs. Firefox 😳
Well, you found a solution, and that's all I needed now. Thank you! 🙏
Where would I look for info about this? I know you don't have the answer, but I really don't understand this, so a bit unsure how to go forward here now.

Thank you!
I totally forgot about this question, so haven't been here for a while, but I will look into it.

Hmm, ok ... 🤓
I might play with the svg later, but for now this works. Thank you very much! 🙏🏾

... center div 😡
... so why does the
width: 100%;
fix this issue?
I did place-self: center center
which also works, and I did this before, but not with the width.20 replies

Absolutelly! And i totally worked with the flex solution. TY!
I was just wondering if I wasn't understanding something about the grid solution, so good to know that I picked up the difference. All the small victories. 🫠

Right! Chatty time ...
First: Thank you so much @clevermissfox , I've watched them before and thought they were really intruiging, but needed you to pull them out of the library for me. 🙏🏾
My question is:
Is the grid solution actually doing what I ask for?
Because as far as I understand they only let me create equal sized columns, that shrink at the same rate.
The way I see the grid solution is to jump from one column to e.g. 3 columns, instead of the auto-fit just adding one extra column whenever needed.
But you can't really control the rate of shrinking for specific individual columns in the grid solution, like he does in the flex solution?

Is <time> used?
It just seems like an easy semantic win, really ...
I'm guessing my take away is to look for specific tags if what I'm adding is something specific from the real world. It just fell into my head that time is so specific that maybe there is a tag for it.
And, I will spare you any time spent finding more examples. The fact is, from now on I will use it. Anything time related lives in a time tag. Easy-peasy!

Is <time> used?
Indeed. But e.g. when displaying multiple events in a program, the starting time for each event would be a logical place for the time tag, right?

Am I right to remember that somewhere in Kevins universe there's a video of tags that we don't use that should be used?

Yes, it seems like a very easy thing to just do.

I remember Kevin making a video about tags that we shouldn't really use, for all sorts of reasons. The time tag was not one of them, but just very curios why it isn't more used since time data is everywhere.

Seems like that's the main use case ...

That's so cool! And caniuse says :has is so good now that I will let those who has older browsers just deal with the other one. It doesn't break, just isn't as nice.
