im hosting a server on my pc so my and a friend can play with those mods
it doesn't need it on the server
i treid removing DH from server and i still crashed
that bug is a thing on the client, no need to mess with a server to try to figure out what's going on there

right, in a moment it should update and increase in detail
in the regular build there's a bug that causes the LODs to stay in that lower detail and not raise in detail when playing on a server that doesn't have dh installed, particularly after teleporting or moving really fast
mhm i mean when i move around everything is fine exept the stuff in teh distant gets really blocky and chunky
it has a queue of jobs to do so it doesn't update instantly, see if it will update quicker if you raise the cpu load

yeah, if you'll be playing on a server, set dh to i paid for the whole cpu, or aggressive

the most intensive job DH does is generating LODs beyond the vanilla render distance, but it won't be doing that regardless of whether the server has dh or not, so it will only be loading lods from the local database and updating, which is a lot less intensive

i mean ig optifine still exist but besides being garbage it probably doesn't work with dh

you do know that not all shaders will work yeah? they need to have dh support themselves

For future reference, that color thing happens when debug rendering is enabled in DH settings > Advance settings > Debug > "Debug view" or something, the first or second option if I recall.

If your LODs are weirdly coloured, press the F8 key or in the config go to Advanced Options > Debug > Debug Mode and set it to "Off"
