Looking for some budget friendly, comfortable walking shoes.
My wife and I are going to Greece soon, and I'm looking for a pair of budget friendly shoes. We'll be there for a week and I'm trying to find something that will be durable enough, breathable, and comfortable.
I'll be bringing another pair of shoes for going out so looks don't matter as much (but I don't want to look like a goofball in these).
Ideally I'm trying to stay around $50, but I'll stretch the budget a little bit for the right pair. Ultimately these shoes will be for the trip, then maybe turn into gym shoes when we get back.

Comfortable insoles
I was looking at Joe's, but they probably wouldn't arrive in time.
I managed to find these on sale for $55, and they look perfect. I'm trying to pick between white or gray. I usually wear black/dark colors.

Is this a fashion question or is this an I want cheap comfortable shoe question?
If the former you've been answered above, if the latter maybe buy what you pictured but no guarantee they're actually comfortable. You're probably better off in what you're used to.
Fwiw, I went on holiday with a pair of chuck 70s and a pair of sandals and walked 20k+ steps a day with no issue. Fit is king.
It's a little bit of both, I was hoping to find a balance between fashion and cheap/comfortable. I wasn't very happy with what I was seeing prior to asking.
