RatRig v4 500mm electronics/controller fan weird behavior
OK the printer is up and running, making very nice prints at pretty quick (if not super fast) speeds. But I've run into a weird problem with the electronics enclosure fan not turning on. I have the single, 180mm fan setup. Forgive me if this has been solved already, I did look around on this channel, but haven't been able to find a solution. Thanks.
The fan is (was) wired up as per the build manual on PD12 (Octopus v1.1). It worked fine at first but stopped working after a few 10 hour prints. The fan works when I apply 24v from an external source.
The ratOS dashboard shows the controller fan (PD12) as running, but it doesn't turn.
I measured the voltage on PD12 and it was 5v.
My current work around was to move the fan to PD13 and put some code in printer.cfg to run it just like it would on PD12. This solution is working, but I'd rather run it stock on PD12
1st image is the original code from RatOS.cfg
2nd image is the copied and modified code I put into printer.cfg
Also attached are the RatOS.cfg and printer.cfg files.

If PD12 isn't putting out the voltage it should, that's not going to be software fixable
You think its a component issue on PD12, like the tiny FET? If so I'll keep a close watch on PD13. If PD13 fails in the same way I'll just hook the fan directly to the 24v power supply so it's always on if the printer has power.
is the jumper on that fan header set to 5v?
It is set to 24 and was working properly for a while
