Stuttering Issue
Recently I made a basic fabric MC 1.21 modpack (in Modrinth app): including DH 2.2.1-a, Sodium 0.6.13, Noisium 2.3.0, Iris Shaders 1.8.8 (I plan to try and add bliss later), Faster Random 5.1.0, and C2ME 0.2.0+alpha.11.109. Overall it runs okay-ish in game, but I keep getting this stuttering that happens every few seconds. My frames vary a ton, from 35-85fps, and I’ve allocated 12GB of ram to the modpack within Modrinth. I’m pretty new to modding Minecraft and even newer to DH, so I’m not sure if there’s something obvious here, but I just wanted to ask and see if anyone had any advice. Thanks!

First, change the mc version to 1.21.1 and get the latest version of everything.
Then, try reducing the cpu load preset in dh's settings
do you mean get the latest version of everything for 1.21.1 or the latest version of everything straight up?
For 1.21.1
The frames are much smoother but it still gets a slight stutter every 5 seconds or so, lowkey its not super noticeable, but idk it still kinda irks me lol
You could also try reducing the quality preset then
This isn't necessarily on the topic of stuttering, but do you have any idea how to minimize this weird graphical thing going on in the sand dunes here?
wow that sent in bad quality my bad
Use OBS next time
But I think youre talking about aliasing
yes that’s the word for it
You could add a shader which includes fxaa or taa. Or if you have FPS to spare, you could also try the QDAA mod
how can i tell if the shader includes fxaa/taa, just testing?
If it's any credible shader, it has some form of anti-aliasing
Thanks for the recommendations! How do I close the thread/mark it as solved?
Add Lithium mod
Do the stutters happen when memory usage drops in the F3 menu?
i don’t notice a correlation
