I can see transparent blocks through solid blocks
Hi there, I suddenly had this bug while everything was working fine. I can see all transparent blocks through solid blocks. I tried with several different shaders and the problem came back on all shaders that support DH and it disappeared with all shaders that did not support it. I have not seen anyone with this exact problem in forums or in faq channels and I do not know how to continue enjoying DH with shaders now. I tried tweaking settings, update my drivers, installing a newer version of DH (any version after 2.2.1 does not work) or updating Iris but nothing worked. I am on 1.21.1/neo-forge and for my friends on the same server it works for them, I don't know what to do anymore 😅

(I suppose the problem comes from the DH mod since without it, the problem disappears)
Do you have any shaders active?
Or Physics mod Ocean Physics? (I assume not from the mod list)

You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Does this happen when DH is the only mod?
I haven't tried with only dh, I'll do it
Shaders failed to get some DH uniforms, IDK why though
i have a complementary shader rn and i tried with some other and no ocean physics
i just tried with only DH + Iris and sodium (for the shaders) and same problem

i tried again without DH and only iris/sodium and the problem disappears
I see you are using an old version of DH
Try updating to latest DH 2.3.2, you can also update Sodium and Iris and see if that fixes it
when I use the latest versions nothing appears, i can go to the mod settings etc but there are just no horizons showing
wait what, i tried with the lasted version of DH and only iris/sodium and it work fine
(in a single player world)
not on the multiplayer world with my friends
i think that now i have to ask them to update DH on the server's side
My bad, DH is not on the server side, it just doesn't work on our multiplayer server but it work on a singleplayer world
IIRC the LOD DB location changed in DH 2.3.2 compared to 2.2.1, sometimes DH fails to move the DB by itself, and have to do it manually

Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
Server Mod
- Overworld: SERVER_FOLDER/world/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: SERVER_FOLDER/world/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: SERVER_FOLDER/world/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: SERVER_FOLDER/world/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Server Plugin
All dimensions in one file: SERVER_FOLDER/plugins/DHSupport/data.sqlite
Remove all your LOD DBs (as in move sonewhere else)
That will make DH generate new DB in correct location
Then move your old DB to the new location
That should make old LODs to show up again
IT WORKED
Thank you so much
