I wanted to get a pair of Weejuns… I saw two pairs I like, but I wanted to know which of these would be more versatile outfit wise (the tassel ones or the other)

the bit loafers look way better
The bit loafers are for sure more versatile
I don't PERSONALLY like the burgundy color in shoes but if you think you can wear it well go for it
The broguing on the tassels is a weird detail, to me.
#1, the second pair isn't even shoes
Do they have the first pair in black or brown
Just speaking from experience, that reddish color is a lot harder to style with more pants than you would think
unfortunately not that I can see
Based on all of this I’m guessing the consensus is that if I can pull off the red, go for it, otherwise, pass on both

the color is just a bit more challenging for me at least
I think black horsebits are best the tassel pair has an odd combination of details that I personally don’t like
the bits look really good
I agree with dang that the bright burgundy can be harder to style but it just depends on what you wear and what vibes you want
who amongst us hasnt tried to wear a color thats ALMOST Color no 8 and regretted it 😂

Also, strong disagree with the burgundy being harder to style. It's a little bright in the pic but I think that's the camera and store lighting. Worst case scenario, hit it with some Bic No4 conditioner, it will darken them up a couple shades.
Cordovan goes with just about anything, works great with navy, browns, green,grey (especially dark grey/charcoal).
