Flat earth
what is on the other side of the disc if the earth is flat? The opposite side we are standing on

What disc? No one asserted a disc except globers trying to strawman. Flat doesn't mean disc.

the disc you've heard of is a troll put out there by fake larpers or anti-FE content producers. It is not what we argue for, there are controlled oppositions that will plague your search results no matter what search engine you use i.e. "true earthers", "the flat earth society", concave earthers, upward rising earthers, etc...
The earth has no measurable curvature at any achievable altitude, it is practically used as flat and demonstrably not curving at the rate a 3959 mile radius sphere would dictate - a geometric horizon at 1.2√observerheight(in feet).
That's what makes one a flat earther - empirical fact, not a disc in space depiction drawn up by our enemies which you and most other newcomers assume is our worldview despite how nonsensical it is.
Do you really think such a ridiculous idea is what our community of empiricists subscribe to?
What's even more ridiculous is the leap of logic that treats a vacuum of space cosmology as a forgone conclusion whereas no such thing exists anywhere in nature. Think about it - the story we were all told of an ever expanding region of extreme low pressure with other spheroid worlds that possibly hold water/air, gas giants and burning stars is a 2nd law of thermodynamics violation - in such a vacuum that is constantly expanding where very body is an open system within it, gas pressure would not be maintained and what water exists would boil away just as it does in nature. Not even gravity can reconcile this plot hole. It is blatantly obvious how nonsensical that cosmology is, let alone when you insert something that doesn't belong in this fragile space story, it sticks out like a sore thumb. It obviously wouldn't work within that framework or proposed cosmology of an ever expanding region of extreme low pressure, which we do not argue for. Regardless of that fact however the expanding vacuum cosmology itself which you currently may believe in cannot even be demonstrated as a possibility in nature.
