Wavy Lines on X Axis
Hi guys, still fighting this dang printer. Finally getting to print some things and I’m running into issues with wavy lines on my X axis, particularly after a corner. See attached photos. I’ve checked my belt resonances and set my acceleration to the recommended amount but still have this issue. This is after all calibration flow, PA, temp, fans, etc. I’m also getting some slight under extrusion. Even after calibration flow and PA. HELP!

Did you add the correct number? I’m away from my printer but I’m thinking mine was like 47.8 or something similar. I’m also setup for Idex.

You've definitely got both PA and flow issues. How did you calibrate them?
Have you added your input shaper graph data to your Printer.cfg?
Also, make sure all your belts are on the their designated pulleys and that they turn freely.
I’ve calibrated both using orca slicers calibrations.
Yep sure did. 5800 was my MSV for y axis. From what I’ve seen, that’s typical for a 500mm hybrid. Belts are on the right pulleys and seem to spin freely. I suppose I could remove the belts to check that in further detail.

Here’s a photo of my Y shaper graph. 44.2hz accel is 5800. Did I enter the wrong number?😂 was I supposed to enter 44.2 instead of 5800?

I’m an idiot

I somehow managed to not include the frequency AND put the same acceleration value for both X and Y. Re testing now🤦🏻
Fixed. I had my values entered wrong.
