You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.

This only is the location if you're using the vanilla launcher (which I haven't used in ~3 years now)

Oh it needs to be on mclogs Maybe put that before the location

Indeed, I too would prefer it to say {mc_instance}/logs or something like that, but the suggestion was rejected

I guess people who don't use the vanilla launcher usually know anyway, and those who do use the vanilla launcher don't know as commonly So does make some sense

I don't see anything weird in logs, the last line just says: Running SQL update script: [sqlScripts/0080-sqlite-addApplyToChildrenColumn.sql], for repo: [D:\Z MultiMC\MultiMC\instances\FPS Pack (1.21)\.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data\My+Server\t4dkqbc06hu5a@minecraft@@overworld\DistantHorizons.sqlite] I guess if you are able to, try to wait it out and see if the update ever completes, or you can try deleting the D:\Z MultiMC\MultiMC\instances\FPS Pack (1.21)\.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data\My+Server folder to delete all LOD DB files so that new ones will be created, hopefully the new ones won't need any updates

That might be why the update takes so long...

I thought it might've been updating, but usually I get in game first

I have never before seen that log entry so a dev would need to give details for what is expected and what to do next You can rename the folder for now, so that new one gets created to see if the DB is really the problem And after a dev sees this you can figure out how to bring the old lods in the renamed folder back

It finished updating 👍
