Crafty Control, AMP, Pterodactyl, Pufferpanel, or Something Else?

Wondering what I should use. Here are some specifics that I'm looking for: - I need something with optimal performance since the VPS isn't especially strong. I've heard bad things about Pterodactyl when it comes to performance, so I'm a bit curious about that too. - Something a bit more intuitive than something like plain Docker. - Ideally an easy way to migrate to another VPS. I might have to end up switching, so being able to do that easily would be great. Could somebody give me some info on this? The more details the better :)

I've had no issues with performance relating to pterodactyl that I've noticed. Ptero's migration system for moving between systems isn't hard, it just requires some technical knowledge and familiarity with terminal and linux. I've used AMP a bit, I haven't done a lot of backend with it, but iirc it costs money and is not really better than other panels. I haven't used crafty controller, but have heard good things and have seen it used on very lightweight systems. Also will you be running ptero and wings on the same machine, or separate?

puffer is docker, amp on linux is iirc docker, ptero is docker, they will have the same performance basically its docker frontends

this is for a small private server so ill just use the free version of amp if i end up going that route. i plan on having everything on the same machine yeah isnt docker a performance hit though?

I would strongly suggest using pterodactyl I have been using it for almost a year now and would never use anything else at this point. Performance wise pterodactyl on its own is using like 1% of my cpu so not big on performance at all. And in the end pretty much every option you have is using docker.

I would suggest AMP tbh Its performance will be on par with any other panel Its install is trivially easy and it "just works" on both windows and linux -# idk if other panels do, too, but it also works on aarch64 servers Plus their support is great

Pterodactyl is just enough to make things simple. Or you can try Pelican Panel, it's not so different from ptero but you can check it still

Pelican is still in alpha/beta afaik so I wouldnt suggest using it for production. And afaik they do not suggest pelican for production as well.

puffer doesn't require docker, but it's recommended (for obvious reasons)
