Can you remove better F3 and send another SS
it removes some useful info

file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.

On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs

Can you try diffrent shader and/or running only DH, Sodium and Iris with no other mods?
cant do different shaders as they wont offer the same performance and it should've been compatible
is there a setting or anything else than that ? 😅
Only temporarily to see if this is an issue only with BSL or with Shader support in general
Where and when did you downlaod BSL?

I got the same issue, shaders just deactivate dh and there is like a wierd shadow on the sky of the already rendered terrain
happends with every shader Ive tested, make up ultra fast, reimagined, euphoria patches, bsl
same issues with complementary the shaders wont shader on the dh but on normal chunks it does

This is a Bliss issue, there are 5 known potential fixes:
- Turn shaders off and back on (repeat after each next fix)
- Set transparency to complete in DH settings
- Decrease or increase the DH RD by 2 - 8 chunks
- Restart the game after applying all the previous fixes
- Change the shader to different one

its not too visible but you can see a shadow of terrain in the background

but its not like the background is visible
if I move, the shadow of the terrain moves with my camera

I'm having issues of almost all shaders, complementary unbound and bliss, some others that support DH are broken with this update
Hmm? Then you're running it off your integrated GPU instead of your dedicated GPU.
The F3 screenshot you sent clearly shows it's running from your CPU's built-in graphics.
I dont have an integrated gpu tho

uh hi i havent gotten my issues fixed yet
the water still looks too vanilla and not shadered using the bsl shaders and idk what to do
how do i enable shader support for dh? i know its compatible
my problem is still the dh not shading when using shaders
like water looking very blue an not like the other water and is vanilla instead

can you try with just DH, sodium and iris?
shader support is up to the shader dev you cant really force enable compatibility as far as i know rn
probably just wait for a bsl update
oh but is there any performance friendly mods like bsl and that can have some lightweight shadows that doesnt mess up in the dh renders

i think u can go to like modrinth or smth and search by recently updated to find dh support for 2.3.0
i can try in a new fabric directory and save just so i wont corrupt my current world

yea ik i just thought they meant there was an issue with water in the new update; like outdated bsl issue
with only a couple of the most important performance mods like indoum, sodium, entity culling and iris

the water still looks too vanilla

no it should work by default. maybe try making a new instance, as you could have messed up the settings somewhere

can you try setting the quality preset to medium?
could it be the shader? cause the shader settings a nd all i had copied over otherwise most stuff i just almost completely dowloaded from modrinth again

Turned down render distance so it was easier to see but after turning preset it went like this the water is gone (transparency set to complete as far as i know that changed it)

its windows laptop ideapad 1 it cannot render volumetric louds or any other clouds than vanilla (it dissapears and there is like this pixelated "aura" where you can glimpse modded clouds and i have 8gb ram in total using AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Radeon Graphics 2.60 GHz

your normal chunks are also not looking very good in that screenshot
do they look correct without DH?
yeah its the same i got bsl shaders turned on and quickly tweaked some settings like fancy to fast etc
are you sure you wanna play with shaders on that laptop? its never gonna be good
the issue might not even be worth fixing
(and i have no idea how to proceed further)
well it looks better and the bsl shaders are quite good from the 50-60 sometimes peaking 80 and low as 30 on vanilla with the shaders its like around 20 fps very livable with a couple lag spikes during the garbage collector
do you know someone who can? perhaps its the new dh update or a bug? maybe someone who updates the code can maybe fix it?
does DH 2.2.1 work?

the rendered dh chunks got vanilla water and stuff only difference is the real time shadows cast shadows on most areas of the dh chunks
maybe ill play without shaders for now :(
