How to turn off distant horizions?
Eveytime I play in a server, distant horizions works perfectly, but whenever I join my singplayer world it lags alot and crashes my game. Is there a way to just entirely turn distant horizions off without removing it from the mods folder?

Yes you can turn it off via the in game settings
You can't turn DH off in settings
You can limit what it does, but it will always do something
Oh so do I just have to remove it from the mod file each time in order to actually turn it off
I you want to disable it completely yes, you can either remove it from the mods folder or change the extension to e.g.
.jar.d or .jar.disabled this is the way mod laucnhers like Modrinth disable mods if you toggle the mod in the launcher
If you would be happy with just limiting what DH does you need to:
1. Disable rendering
2. Disable distant generation
3. Set CPU load to minimum
4. Optional, go to advanced threading, set the thread count to 1 and run time to as low as it goes just not 0 itselfThank you
