Road tool improvement
Hi guys!
I have a quick suggestion for the road improvement tool.
It will be super necessary if we will have an option, to adjust a landscape (or mesh) that placed under the road, so that we can made a flat road that may be placed in the noise terrain.
Like a default road tool in the landscape.

Do you mean for UE landscapes?
With Dash 1.9.0, and Dash terrains, something like this will be possible, as we then have curve and mesh deformation in the terrain tool. But maybe you are not looking for it in the Dash terrain?

I.e. I have a mesh with some geo deformation, like a little noise. This mesh can be as a Dash Terrain, or a simple UE Terrain, or a simplemesh - where I want to make a road.
So if I will draw the curve over the mesh\terrain, and then apply road tool to it. I want to have an option, that will make flateness of underlying mesh\terrain, and make it 100% flat under the road, or a 50% (just a slider). So in the exit I want to have a flat road surface, that follow throgh a noisy mesh\terrain.

It might a bit work in upcoming 1.9.0 with the mesh deformation with the dash terrain, but have to be tested too see how well 😄
I hope that will make sense - you can see how the underlaying terrain is not completele flat. I mean, looks like we have a much more space that can be flatten. And the road might be more flatten.

Fyi, we just decided to push the mesh deformation feature to 1.9.1 instead of 1.9.0 as we found some cool improvements we could do to make it actually good, hopefully for your use-case as well!
