You don't need to give password just you can scan and give
Why would someone do that? Besides, it's against the terms of service for a player to share their account with someone else.
If someone have extra id or if they left playing pubg. If it was against term then why the pubg give scan login ?

PUBG mobile does not allow account sharing. The QR code login is intended for playing on untrusted devices, maybe your at your friends house and want to play on his device. Then this code comes in.
