Game hangs up after 30-50 minutes
Hey, we are using a bunch of Mods and after 30-50 minutes, the Game hangs up. The Dedicated Server (selfhosted) continues to run.
What we have tested:
- Withoud any Mod, the game isn't hanging up
- We tested each mod, no problem
- We figured out, when we have following mods installed: Dimensional Depot Downloader, Fluid Dimensional Depot, No Power Line Management, Instant Upload Speed, Unlimited Dimensional Depot - The game hangs up (Not the Server).
- When we play in Singleplayer, its all working.
- We tested another Dedicated server with the same Mods, the game hangs up.
We tested Experimental Branch, same problem
Can anyone help us?

Just to check, this log was generated straight after a freeze, before relaunching the game?
yes
yeah your local log just ends, then your server log says the connection times out ~30 second later
I don't see anything helpful for diagnosis in there, unfortunately

What can i do?
i asked about this Warning line. but didnt get an answer yet. I never saw this warning before π¦ ... maybe its better continue without those mod for now. As the error is related to conveyors... Maybe uninstralling the Dimensional Depot Downloader. The other ones dont have conveyors.

If we kept the Downloader mod in but used this "Small Downloader and Uploader" (i.e. not the large version), would that make a difference?
not really π¦ The small downloader will actually add more machines to the Downloader mod. It will be better to only have the "Downloader".

If it is related to the buffer fill bug, that's supposedly going to be alleviated some in the next patch.... But usually that hits on login to a server\mp not randomly in the middle
I would like to test something else before we continue to investigate whether or which mod is causing the crashes. Is there a way (that even a beginner can understand) to transfer everything we have built so far into a new, fresh savegame? This way you could at least rule out that the save game is defective. So now it's just an idea, I don't know if it works π

Not really? But if the save game is corrupt then just loading it into scim and downloading it again is, assuming not a complete horrendous corruption, usually enough to fix things (scim had its own encoder to build save files it activates when you "download" the save)
Now you have to help me, what is Scim? Please don't get angry, but so far I've only concentrated on playing and less on what's around it ππ

sooo... after a long testing... i played now 2 hours and had no freezes. It looks like, the "Fluid Dimensional Depot" is the annoying (NervensΓ€ge). I Hope, thats it.
I can now confirm that too. I could now play for about 3 hours straight without the game crashing. Thank you π

That time it didnt just hangs up? Hmmm wihtout instant upload seems to be taking more time before it crashes.
just updated the auto dowload mod to work with dedi servers π Let me know if it works now. Im testing the fluid depot now on my server game... waiting to the crash happen

I heard somebody talking about a HoverPack mod crashing the game, but dont know if its that you using
Buuuut... now im thinking about Thousand slots and the UObjects.. Maybe the uobjects is exceeding...

uobjects is something that can grow by time, specially when we have a lot of mods
we have soooo much mods from you... but these mods you wrote, are perfect for dedi π we have no problems with it. And the hoverpack has no problems on our server.

try with them on.,.. see if in like 30 minutes. 1 hour, if the uobjects starts to get too high

a test recipe producing exactly 50,000 water units still runs fine for me

and another question: In the Fluid Dowloader, there are 2 types from most of the Fluids in there. See Screen

the green and the gray beside are molten nickel.

the second time we do the script, it crashes unreal.

The interesting thing I noticed about those is how they started.
Client being sent conveyor items by the server and not processing them somehow perhaps?
is a fluid pipe a conveyor? bc the problem is only when fluid Down and Uploader is installed

@Mircea (Area Actions) not sure if that log is intended to be using LogGame, and if it should still be present in the released mod
It shouldn't be there, no, forgot to remove it after hooking Tick to block the updates until the data was replicated, like Arch suggested

Yes, that's why messages from it appear in your log files. Regardless, I don't think that mod is the cause of the problem here

@AndreAquila hey, i played with the Fluid Depot. I have the Problem, that the Toxic Gas is uploading but there is no toxic gas in the depot.
