Something feels off about this combo
Is it the fit of the shirt vs pants? The pants are roomy. Or the saturation of the pants vs. the shirt?
Both? Something else?

Here's better pics of the individual pieces, camera can't seem to capture well

I think it's harder to style pleated pants with an untucked shirt
Looks less intentional
That's a good point, also feels like there's less point of pleated pants when they're covered
Yeah I think a tuck is the move here. Untucked could maybe work if the shirt was (a lot) bigger
Or wearing it open with a (tucked) layer underneath
the shirt has to be a bit smaller in terms of the size it takes up
doesn't look bad tbh, but if u did a french tuck or tucked fully and added a jacket layer, would be nice
that being said, its a straight hem shirt, its not meant to be tucked
maybe wear an undershirt and tuck that in, and then wear the shirt open
i think also the pic may not be doing you any favours but to me i think the shirt could be a lil more volumous
Tuck the shirt or get something more voluminous so it can drape more like the pants
Shirt fits well but it's a very fitted look vs the looser, pleated pants
