Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.

Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.
Second part of the message doesn't affect you, since you aren't the server owner and don't have access to the servers mods

You need to make sure you have the same DH version as the server
If the DH version on the server is a lot older than the one you have, its possible they arent compatible

bottom line, turud didn't have the right version,
even tho, the max render distance setup in the server is 4096 and yet it doesn't load more than 36ish.
so something is wrong except if it's not possible for the server to send more/further.

so it's a non issue now i think

didn't touch that setting, i just set down the ratelimit to 1 instread of 20
as with many ppl, when generating chunk, region drop to unplayable tps

nah it's premium, but allow bedrock and inherently to that compatibility layer, some crack that use a non premium account

well our server is full anarchy, with no limit nor no scope, some people already abused the server to get OP and imported illegal that crash the server, other people aim to crash the server by loading as many chunk as possible to fill the disk space (300TB) and other people test out basically whatever they can to kill the server. Yet DH is still a good thing in an anarchy server, it allow to be fully immerse in the gargantuan world that is minecraft, while looking like WW3 happen for miles & miles.
and aside of all this crash thingy, most of the ppl are peaceful and build cool things.
