Can not open RatOS in the browser
Im trying to install RatOS for my Vcore4. I use the raspberry PI imager and make sure I dont add any other settings.
I plug the card into the PI and the hotspot shows up and I connect the PI to the wifi. The hotspot disappears and I connect back to the wifi I connected the PI to.
RatOS appears in the router interface. When I try to open http://RatOS.local/config or look up the assigned IP-adress of the PI it wont open mainsail in the browser.
What am i doing wrong?

Use Angry IP Scanner and it will give you the extension. Probably your’s is not .local
I just tried Angry IP scanner. RatOS doesnt show up in the list of devices on there, but it is in the list of the router. What could the reason be? On the router it has ip-address: 192.168.1.100
On Angry ip scanner that IP-address is empty
Open the IP
Or it is a shadow/history ip that has been connected and the router saved it as a device
I also cannot open the IP in the browser. On the router interface it is listed between the devices currently online.
Really odd…
Can you try to ssh to the ip?
Im still waiting for my micro hdmi to hdmi cable to arrive so i can connect a monitor. When trying to ssh into the PI with putty it says "PuTTY Fatal Error: Network Connection Timed Out"
Something very wrong.
I would flash a new sd card
could this be a SD card problem? since the hotspot from RatOS works?
what is the IP of the pi, and what is the IP from where you are trying to access the pi? It could be they are on different subnets
they are the same. The PI is 192.168.1.100 and laptop etc are also on 192.168.1.XXX. I got a monitor end keyboard connected to the pi now and it says: "klipper has encountered an error unknown config object" That might be because I havent updated everything yet?
Also made sure port 22 and putty are allowed through the firewall, but that didnt change anything...
Considering your description of the problem it definitely sounds like a different subnet issue. Don't run more than one router (eg. DHCP), if you want your devices to be able to connect to eachother.
Put one of them in pass through mode.
