Game crashing when rendering world
Hello!
I'm using the latest nightly build of DH but the game also crashes with the stable release of DH.
I'm trying to load LODs in my brand new world so I put DH in aggressive mode and wait without moving (which puts my CPU at 100% or close to that) and in about 5 minutes, my game crashes.
Here is my latest.log : https://mclo.gs/QkWTLw3
It doesn't generate any crash-reports or error messages though : the game just closes suddenly without any further informations.
I'm playing on singleplayer
I'm using ATLauncher
Here is my mod list :

does it also happen with just DH?
I'm going to try brb
Still crashed : no crash reports nor error messages

may be because I moved my camera around and put it in "I paid for the whole CPU"
at least we got a stack trace this time
no idea what it means though
someone smarter will have to look at it
Is this in a new world or an already existing world?
Can you try with stable and no other mods in a new world?
made a new world
alright Im going to try that
Ok so I've tried, it seems a little more stable because it doesn't crash when I dont move but when I moved around while flying my entire PC shut down and restarted.
No crash reports

Here is my specs if needed :
CPU : Ryzen 5 3600X
GPU : RTX 2080 Super
RAM : 16 Gigs 3200Mhz
I was using msi afterburner at the same time and my cpu was at 100% but wasn't getting above 70 degrees Celsius so it's not a thermal throttle
my entire PC shut down and restartedthen your PC is the problem because a pc should never do that sounds like a PSU problem
could be very possible
thanks!
my psu is indeed too low for the system I'm running : could it also be the reason why my game crashes?
probably not
Alright, thank you very much for the help
Why not?
Wouldn't an overcurrent protection turn the PC off?
this is talking about game crashes, not PC crashes
ah yeah
For anyone interested : removing my overclock on my CPU did the trick : now the game only crashes on "I paid for the whole CPU" so it seems to be a PSU issue.
a bad psu can cause instabilities but not crash the system
yes it can
if the PSU cant maintain sufficient wattage and shuts itself off because of that, itll crash the system
the whole pc
idk if you would call that "crashing" per se though
