Linked Machines not filling all machines equally
Hello
I just installed the mod "Linked Machines" and i built 6 constructors next to each other, on foundations so they are aligned and everything.
all taking in iron rods and should produce screws.
now after a few seconds/minutes ingame, the dist of the ironrods in the the constructors are the following:
Constructor 1: 10x Ironrod
Constructor 2: 9x Ironrod
Constructor 3: Empty
Constructor 4: 76x Ironrod
Constructor 5: Empty
Constructor 6: 11x Ironrod
and because of that, the machines are idle inbetween and not everything runs smoothly.
am i doing something wrong, or is that just intended behaviour of the mod?

Hey Aroc, thanks for reporting it, it shouldnt be happening... all machines supposed to never have less than 2 production cycles. I will look into it asap
thanks for the reply. i will then wait for a mod update. if you need any testing or just more infos, hit me up
Personally holding off on using this mod until other users or "The Mayor" can confirm that this would not happen.
is there any news about an update @Andre Aquila <Aquila Industrial> ? or is this gonna take longer until you get time to look at it, so i dont get my hopes up for using it in any near future?
A friend converted that mod to C++, improving it a lot, but he didn't launch it yet 😦
We will call it "Linked Machines 2".... I'm hoping he gets back for this massive rework. For now i will take a look on the current code asap... The more balanced it gets, more laggy it gets. This current version only acts when the machine has more than half stack full ... 😦
I'm thinking in creating a different approach to the machines, based on the machines recipes instead of the world locations. I will try it now 🙂

no rush to you 😄 thanks for looking at it
Aroc, when i finish this rework, can i send to you the mod to make a test? I can put some configs for you to try to tune it better and then i put it as defaults ...
sure, im always happy to help
