Multiplayer Manual Chunk Loading not working.
Hi , I'm aware on public servers you have to preload the chunks yourself by moving around, but on any server I play on, the mod simply doesnt work. But when I go to single player it works fine.
It worked before and one day just stopped working.
I did the usual and deleted the config/distanthorizons file and reinstalled, the whole shabang but no fixes.
Is there a specific multiplayer setting I need to set to get the mod to work again?

also i want to correct my initial complaint, it works fine but when i use any shader (i tried all compatible ones from the website) it shuts down and gives "only idirect is supported with iris" error
Try doing a /binary search, also I wouldn't use C2ME with DH 2.2, it slows it down by up to 35%. With 2.3 (currently the nightly) it will provide a speedup
Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.
Are you on a Mac?

i removed all mod apart from the needed ones and it still did it
try disabling instanced rendering in DH's settings
not sure if its a thing on DH 2.2.x
you may need to use the nightly builds for that
advanced, graphics, generic rendering

nightly builds are buggy
no generic on my version so ill try with a nightly
what was buggy about them?

this is just distant horizons
i "fixed" it with making the quality preset the owest
lowest
but it doesnt even work now
no distant view just regular mc distance rendered
but the black is gone 🤷

like do i need to delete the server

cos ive never joined the vanilla server before and it worked
try moving the sqlite file(s) to a different location, and youll see if that was the issue

im crashing when i load into the server now, didnt even happen before

You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs

Because it is mentioned in the stack trace

and this just made it so lod didnt load

unless i turned off the wrong rendering
