What are the equivalent alternatives to sweatpants for summer?
What are the equivalent alternatives to sweatpants for summer? I thought of buying sweatpants but then realised winter is over and now I can't wear sweatpants because I'm told they are sweaty for summers?

Well, the closest summer equivalent to sweatpants would propably be gym shorts.
Outside of that the usual summer suggestions are shorts in general as well as linen pants.
Though I suppose a breezy skirt is prolly very comfy in summer as well.
Have you just moved to a warmer climate, or are you less than 6 months old?
What have you worn previous summers?
What I mean is whether they are 'too sweaty' will be very dependent on the temperatures where you live and also your own heat tolerance

Something like sweatpants but not so warm
I like the way it drops and is baggy and full length bottom wear
Linen joggers might be a good option then
there are also lightweight sweats that aren't fleece-lined. uniqlo has some options.

i feel like parachute pants are pretty lightweight
Even just loose cotton joggers can be real comfy in the summer
