What gets flashed where?

Im a bit confused. I dont know what image im supposed to use for flashing these boards
I assume I should be flashing the CB1 image to the manta and the rpi 32 image to the eMMC chip?
But I dont want to brick anything

No, just the raspberry pi image to the SD card for the cm4
What blacksmith said, but I woul highly suggest flashing the 2.1 image instead of the 2.02, the 2.1 RC is just so much better
Got it, looks like thats working. now to figure out how to use a 5160 tmc driver
