wallet recs
Oh god here we go. Alright you degenerates, I want a new wallet. Mine has run its course.
Requirements: thin-ish, multi card slots, no ID window, space for cash.
Preferences: leather takes precedence. Don’t want untanned, would prefer dark brown to black, and none of that super thin leather nonsense. Shit’s gotta take a beating.
RFID protection would be dope but not required.
Budget: idk, $300 max?
If you suggest anything dumb, anything made by any company with a name like “Man Lumber” or “Guy Leather”, or god forbid one of those nerdy metal/elastic Tesla-lover lookin’ wallets I s2g I will hurl you out a window.

Honestly, find a leather worker and get one made. All my belts and my wallet are from a guy who lives in the woods 20 miles away and they're great and when the stitching on my wallet came undone I just popped in for a coffee with a bottle and he sorted it.
This is what I’m leaning towards right now, but figured I’d see if there’s any specific companies/makers out there I should be taking a gander at
Personally think these are such simple things to make that supporting your local saddle repair person or whatever and getting a load of freedom in design/makeup is worth it.
You’d think there’d be more leather workers out this way, but I think I’d have to go the Etsy/insta route
There’s slim pickings
My current wallet is based on a tanner goods one I picked up on sale years ago fwiw.
So idk what your stance on these is but there’s a bunch of neat looking leather wallets out there these days that have like this insert where you can pop your cards out with a lever. Functionally they’re pretty nice and imo don’t look too bad.
Idk might be too far into the techy aspect for you

They do have that rfid stuff though
Own this one in a blue leather, best wallet ive ever owned tbh
Ive gone through a few myself and the secrid is just the easiest to pop out and sleekest to carry
I got one from chesterfield that has a little coin pocket as well - the euro necessitates this pretty much lol
