I've also try with VPN - but no results.
Hey hey @andreyatneo (Thanks for sharing your many problems and giving us a chance to help you out! š )
This issue is related to a mismatch between Dash and some other UE plugin you have actually. Both use some Python dependencies, but different versions most likely.
I can't read from that which the other plugin is, but the way to solve this would be to delete the Intermediate Folder mentioned on the last row of your error. Then restart UE and start Dash.
Doing this might affect other plugins that use this Intermediate folder, so it might break something in your project, just so you know.
If you want to figure out the problematic plugin firstly, I can see if a dev can help out
Ok thanks! I will try to do this and give a report of the result!
Great! š
I've try to delete Intermediate Folder - but the Sophon doesnt seems to be work. But I've test it on the blank project and it starts well. Mb there is a way to fugure where the conflict is?
Here is a screenshoot

ah, it may be so that the problematic plugin re-enables it self as soon as you start and thus re-creates that folder, before Dash manages to do its thing properly
Could you show/tell me which external plugins you have in that problematic project?
here is a list of problematic default plugins we have found so far, but not much idea about external plugins yet. DaZtoUnreal might be one external

I use not much external plugins. Here they are

And here is a list of all activated plugins
I've disable the ML Framework and camera calibration plugin but there was a same results - the sophon didnt start.
I chatted with the dev, and there is no easy way of finding which plugin it is that creates the problem actually.
You would have to go through all the plugins and disable them, one-by-one or a few at a time, close UE, then delete the pipinstall folder inside of the intermediate folder and then restart UE and check if Sophon works. Repeat repeat until you find the problematic one
If you may know that you are not using all of these activated plugins, you could disable all of those not needed in one go
Sorry we don't got a better idea right now š¦
Actually, we found out that it may be the ChaosClothGenerator plugin, you can start of by trying that
please let us know how it goes!
Hi!
I've made a tests and here is result:
1. I've copied my base project files (without content folder) into a new project.
2. Disabling ChaosCloth is cascadely lead to disabling a many other plugons, even AppleProResMedia plugin and more (see screenshoot). So I've decide to make a copy of project
3. Then I test Sophon activation in this copied project - and nothing happens with same error.
4. Then I go and disable all cascade of plugins which suggest to disable after disabling chaos cloth. And test Sophon - and Sophon didnt satrts. (see attached screenshoot)
5. Ive decide to check if there are previous plugins disabled that you mentioned before. I found a camera calibration plugin active. So I disable it, and test once again.
6. And also an error
7. So I delete intermediate folder and test once again.
8. And yes - it starts.
I think I should delete the intermediate folder test it after I've disable chaos cloth and all cascades plugins. But looks like no other plugins is affected the Sophon.
The bad news is I need this plugin for work. So I hope you will find a solution to make Dash and CCloth friends in next update š

Thanks for sharing all of this @andreyatneo ! š
2. Good to know!
Did you try to delete the intermediate folder (or pipinstall folder inside it) after you tried to only disable ChaosCloth? That step is needed since it is those files in that folder that conflicts with Dash. Asking this as I don't think and hope that you should not need to disable all your plugins. Alright I understand that you need CCloth, we will continue to look into possible fixes. But at least in the next Dash version, conflicts like this should only affect the AI assistant, and not any more of the features in Dash. Definitely not perfect as you may really want/need to use Sophon. As a bad workaround, you can basically use the same assistant on our website actually: https://www.polygonflow.io/dash-ai-assistant š
